Roller Skating!

A friend of mine that I used to work with had a roller skating party for her birthday today, so I took Chase and Chloe for their first roller skating experience! We tried to get Chloe skates but they were way too big, so she just ran around while Chase and I skated around the snack area (since Chloe wouldn't let me leave her side to go out into the rink)! I attempted to have a friend take some pictures, but as usual... when one child is looking, the other is not! Here are my attempts, at least!

Chloe's hair is out of control. I try to put pigtails in it but she rips them right out!  I'm almost ready to give her a cut like mine.  The mullet look just isn't doing anything for her.  Ha ha!

 

Soccer Fun!

I know, I know.... It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been crazy busy lately! Sorry. I have a couple videos to share today.  Soccer is in full swing and Chase is the token goalie every week.  It is definitely his favorite position, and he does it well.  He's not a fan of the crowds of kids gathered around the ball out on the field (he gets that claustrophobia from me)!  The goalie spot is much safer.  Anyway, here is my little goalie, kicking the ball back into the game:

And here's a sample of what Chloe does while the game is going on.  I have to keep a close eye on her so she doesn't get run over!

Next up for Chase (when soccer is over next month): Baseball!  He loved Kickball so I'm hoping it will translate over.  We shall see!  I just love being on the sidelines screaming and cheering like a crazy embarrassing mom.  He's too young to hate me for it yet!

 

It's Snowing!

It doesn't snow down here very often, so when it does, we have to take full advantage of it!
