Not that I'm calling Brian's dad a fairy (!), but what else do you call someone who removes the loose stain chips from your ratty old deck one day and then, in exchange, gives you something more valuable the next?Elmer was kind enough to drive up from St. Louis this weekend to help Brian powerwash and re-stain the deck. It looks really nice now that it's done! Of course we managed to find time to go to the Scarecrow Festival and do some shopping (and eating!) while he was here, too! He was also kind enough to babysit for us while we attended friends Jill and Jonah's wedding and reception Saturday (Congrats, Jill & Jonah)!

OMG - "Impossible to change anymore" - I can totally relate!!! S would rather stand that lay so I'm learning to change diapers while she's standing and J tries to push off and roll over any chance he gets...ugh!
